Panama - audit and accounts

Open pricing. The final quote is fixed in writing before work starts.

Panamanian companies are required to keep accounting records and supporting documents, and in some cases to file accounts. This service is for owners of Panama companies who need their books kept in order, and for those who have decided to close a company and want to do it properly, through formal liquidation.

Accounting work is billed by the hour, with the total depending on transaction volume. We prepare financial and tax accounts and can apostille them for use abroad. If the company is no longer needed, we handle the liquidation: drafting corporate resolutions, helping settle outstanding obligations and seeing the procedure through until the company is removed from the registry.

FAQ

Does a Panama company really need to keep accounts?
Yes, the record-keeping and document-retention requirements also apply to companies that do not operate inside Panama. We help bring the books into compliance.
Can I just abandon a company I no longer need?
You can stop renewing it, but that leaves loose ends: unpaid fees and possible questions later. A formal liquidation closes the matter for good.
Why apostille the accounts?
An apostille is needed when the accounts are used in another country: for a bank, tax authority or court. Without it, foreign bodies may not accept the documents.
