Residents of Norway are taxed on their entire worldwide income. Non-residents pay tax only on certain types of income from Norwegian sources.
What is the PAYE scheme and what rate does it use?
PAYE is a simplified reporting scheme for non-resident employees with limited tax liability, in force since 1 January 2019. The rate is 25%, including social security contributions.
