Best time to visit Vanuatu?

May to October is drier and cooler, and that is the sensible window. November to April is humid and falls inside cyclone season, which is a genuine risk here rather than a formality. Temperatures barely move; rain and wind do.

How many days in Port Vila?

The town itself takes a day: the market, the national museum, the waterfront and Erakor Lagoon. Add two or three days for Mele Cascades, Iririki Island and a hop to Tanna or Espiritu Santo. Fewer than five days in Vanuatu feels rushed.
