  • Minimum income: at least $1,446 per month - 3× Ecuador's basic salary (SBU, $482 in 2026). The income must come from sources outside Ecuador and is verified for the last 3 months; the threshold is adjusted every January. Add roughly $250 per month for each dependent.
  • Taxes: personal income tax of 0-37%.
