France is a country with rich cultural heritage, a developed economy and a high standard of living. Thanks to its central position in Europe, it offers excellent opportunities for travel and business.

Legal grounds for citizenship

There are three ways to obtain French citizenship:

  • Naturalization. Foreigners over 18 can apply after at least 5 years of legal residence in France. You have to show integration into society: knowledge of the language and an understanding of republican values.
  • Marriage to a French citizen. Spouses of French citizens can apply after 4 years of marriage and living together, provided the marriage is registered in France.
  • Birth in France. Children born in France to foreign parents automatically receive French citizenship at the age of 18 if they have lived in the country continuously for at least 5 years from the age of 11.

The exact route and timeline depend on your situation. On a free consultation we will check your documents and tell you straight which option fits.
