Investment property: Ireland

We act on the buyer's side: shortlist, checks, end-to-end deal support.

Ireland is an open and transparent market: foreigners can buy residential and commercial property without restrictions, regardless of citizenship or visa status. Demand is concentrated in and around Dublin - the country has lived with a housing shortage for years, and rental demand is supported by the headquarters of international tech and pharmaceutical companies. One thing to be clear about: buying property confers no immigration rights. Ireland's Immigrant Investor Programme closed in 2023, and even while it operated, real estate was never among its qualifying options.

We select properties to match your goal - rental income, capital preservation or a family home, verify legal title through local solicitors, support the transaction from offer to registration, and help structure ownership, including the tax aspects relevant to non-residents. If your goal is relocating to Ireland, we will honestly explain which immigration routes exist and what role, if any, property can play in them.

FAQ

Can a foreigner buy property in Ireland?
Yes, without restrictions. Citizenship and visa status have no bearing on your right to buy residential or commercial property in Ireland.
Does buying property in Ireland grant residency?
No. Owning property gives no right to live in Ireland. The country's investor programme closed in 2023 and never included real estate. Relocation requires other grounds: employment, business, study or financial independence.
Where do I start?
By defining your goal: income, capital preservation or a home for yourself. Contact us and we will prepare a shortlist, explain the purchase process and the tax implications for a non-resident.

Don’t want to figure this out alone?
