Inheritance planning in the UAE
Open pricing. The final quote is fixed in writing before work starts.
If you own assets in the UAE - property, bank accounts, shares in local companies - it makes sense to decide in advance how they will pass to your heirs. Without a will, succession in the UAE follows local rules, and the outcome can differ significantly from what the owner assumed. This service is for people who live in the Emirates or hold meaningful assets there and want a predictable outcome for their family.
We work in two scenarios. If there is no will and the estate already needs to be administered, we support the probate process: helping gather documents, dealing with the court and government bodies, and coordinating the transfer of assets to the heirs. If the goal is prevention, we prepare a will through the DIFC Wills Service: we discuss your assets and wishes, draft the text and arrange registration. The DIFC registration fee is paid separately.
Fees
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| UAE probate support (no will) | $66 000 |
| Will drafting via DIFC Wills Service | $11 000 |
| DIFC will registration government fee | from 5 000 AED |
Prices are indicative and cover our work on a typical case. We confirm the exact quote in writing after a short call - you know the final number before we start. Government fees and bank tariffs are billed separately unless explicitly included.
