An honest assessment before work starts, the quote is fixed in writing.

We assess your chances against your profile, prepare the compliance file, help you present your source of funds properly and handle communication with the bank until it decides. The final decision always rests with the bank, so no one can guarantee an opening - careful preparation simply improves the odds.

FAQ

Can a foreigner open a company account in Finland?
Yes, if the company is registered in Finland and has a Y-tunnus business ID. Foreign ownership is allowed, but the bank will want to understand the company's link to Finland. Companies with no Finnish operations and no signatory holding local ID are rarely onboarded.
Do I need a Finnish resident director?
Residency requirements for board members are relaxed for EEA nationals; others may need an exemption from the registrar. Separately, the bank checks whether the signatory has a Finnish personal identity code and strong electronic identification. Without those, operating the account is technically awkward.
How long does a Finnish corporate account take?
Weeks for a local company with Finnish owners, longer for a structure with foreign beneficial owners because of enhanced due diligence. Documents are often requested in several rounds. Banks do not commit to a deadline.
What does a Finnish bank check on a company?
Registry data, ownership down to beneficial owners, the business model, expected turnover and counterparty countries, and the source of capital. Sanctions screening is strict, particularly on any links to Russia and Belarus. A refusal can come without a detailed explanation.
