Personal accounts: Turks and Caicos Islands

An honest assessment before work starts, the quote is fixed in writing.

We assess your chances against your profile, prepare the compliance file, help you present your source of funds properly and handle communication with the bank until it decides. The final decision always rests with the bank, so no one can guarantee an opening - careful preparation simply improves the odds.

We quote the exact cost for this country after a short consultation: it depends on the bank and your residency. The quote is fixed in writing before work starts.

FAQ

Can a non-resident open a bank account in Turks and Caicos?
It is possible but selective. Applications go much better when there is a real connection: property on the islands, employment, a business or a residence permit.
Is there a minimum balance?
Non-resident packages usually carry higher balance and fee requirements than local ones. The numbers differ by bank and change over time, so confirm them before you apply.
Do I need to visit in person?
Usually yes, at least once for identification. Part of the paperwork can be sent ahead, but the identity check is rarely waived for a non-resident.
Does Turks and Caicos report under CRS?
Yes, the islands participate in CRS, so account data goes to your country of tax residence. There is no local income tax, which does not change your reporting duties at home.
