Chile is South America's most institutionally mature property market: a reliable title registry, a solid banking system, and predictable rules. Foreigners buy real estate on the same terms as citizens - all that is required is a local tax number (RUT), and you do not need to live in the country or hold residency. The one well-known restriction concerns land in border zones for citizens of neighboring countries. The core market is concentrated in Santiago, with resort destinations such as Vina del Mar. Chile has no golden visa tied to real estate: a purchase by itself does not grant residency, which is obtained on other grounds.
We run the deal from goal to registration: we match the property to your purpose - capital in the region's most stable jurisdiction, rental use, or a future home - verify title, encumbrances, and the property's history through the registry, and manage the notarial closing.
