We assess your chances against your profile, prepare the compliance file, help you present your source of funds properly and handle communication with the bank until it decides. FAQ

Can a non-resident open a business account in Denmark?
Technically yes, if the company is registered in Denmark and has a CVR number. In practice Danish banks are very reluctant to take on structures with no real activity in the country: after the major money laundering cases, compliance here is among the strictest in the EU. A foreign-owned shell with no Danish clients, staff or office has almost no chance.
Do I need a Danish resident director to open a company account?
Company law does not require a resident director, but the bank looks at the link between the business and Denmark. If management and operations sit entirely abroad, the bank sees no reason to open the account. A local director, an office and Danish counterparties improve your odds without guaranteeing anything.
What does a Danish bank ask a company for?
Articles of association and a registry extract, ownership structure down to the ultimate beneficial owner, a description of the business model, expected turnover and counterparty countries, plus proof of where the capital came from. They will also ask why you want the account in Denmark specifically. Everything is cross-checked against public sources and sanctions lists.
How long does it take to open a corporate account in Denmark?
Anything from a few weeks for a straightforward Danish company to several months for a foreign-owned structure. Expect several rounds of follow-up document requests. The decision is always the bank's, and refusals without a stated reason are normal here.
