Investment property: Nauru

We act on the buyer's side: shortlist, checks, end-to-end deal support.

Nauru is one of the smallest countries in the world, and for foreigners there is essentially no investment property market: land on the island belongs to Nauruan families and communities, and foreigners cannot buy it outright. The country does have a passport programme - citizenship in exchange for a non-refundable contribution under the Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Program - but it is not connected to real estate in any way. The honest conclusion: if your goal is to invest in property, Nauru is not the place.

We say so plainly when a market does not solve your problem, and we do not offer property transactions in Nauru. Instead, we can help you assess whether Nauru citizenship by contribution fits your goals, compare it soberly with the alternatives, or find a jurisdiction where property is open to foreigners and, if needed, linked to residency or citizenship.

FAQ

Can a foreigner buy property in Nauru?
Practically no. Land on the island is held by Nauruan families and communities and is not sold outright to foreigners.
Does Nauru have a citizenship or residency programme through real estate?
Not through real estate. There is a citizenship-by-contribution programme (the Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Program), but it is not linked to buying property.
Where do I start if I am interested in this region?
With a consultation: we identify your real goal - a passport, an asset or a base in the Pacific - and match it to a jurisdiction that actually delivers it.

Don’t want to figure this out alone?

We handle the whole process end to end: we shortlist properties for your goal, run legal checks and support the deal through to registration. Leave your details and an international property expert will get back to you. The first consultation is free.
