The United Kingdom is a country with a rich history, a developed economy and a high standard of living. It is known for prestigious institutions such as Oxford and Cambridge, and it is one of the world's financial centers.

Legal basis for citizenship

There are several routes to British citizenship through naturalization:

  • Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). After 5 years of legal residence in the UK you can apply for ILR. Twelve months after receiving ILR you can apply for citizenship.
  • Marriage to a British citizen. If you are married to or in a civil partnership with a British citizen and have lived in the country for at least 3 years, you can apply for citizenship provided you hold ILR or settled status.
  • Settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme. Citizens of the EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland living in the UK can obtain settled status and apply for citizenship 12 months later.

Routes to residency

To live in the country you first need resident status. The main programs are: the investor visa, the Innovator Visa, the representative of an overseas business visa, the skilled worker visa, the student visa, the spouse and partner visa, the family reunification visa, and the Global Talent visa for recognized leaders and promising specialists in science, technology, arts and culture.

Every program has its own requirements. On a free consultation we assess which one fits you.
