Can a non-resident open a personal account in Georgia?
Yes in principle - Georgian banks do open multi-currency accounts for non-residents. In practice refusals have become far more common since 2022-2023 and reviews take longer. Your citizenship and tax residency weigh heavily on the outcome.
Do I need Georgian residency for a bank account?
