Can a non-resident open a bank account in Kyrgyzstan?

Yes, the entry bar has traditionally been low: a passport, sometimes a tax number and a visit to the branch. Bank policy has become more cautious, though, and some branches now limit foreigners.

Do I need residency in Kyrgyzstan?
